The AI810 analog input module has eight channels. Each channel can be a voltage or current input. The current input is capable of handling a short circuit in the transmitter power supply of at least 30 V dc without damage. Current limiting is performed by a PTC resistor. The input resistance for current input is 250 ohms, including PTC.
