The AO810/AO810V2 analog output module has 8 unipolar analog output channels. To monitor communication with the D/A converter, serial data is read back and verified. Receive open circuit diagnostics during read back. The module performs a self-diagnosis loop. Module diagnostics include process power monitoring, which is reported when the power supply voltage of the output circuit is low. The error is reported as a channel error. Channel diagnostics includes fault detection of the channel (reported only on the active channel). If the output current is less than the output set value and the output set value is greater than 1 mA, an error is reported.
