The 3500/15 AC and DC power supplies are half-height modules that must be installed in a designated slot on the left side of the rack. The 3500 rack can contain one or two power supplies with any combination of AC and DC. Either power supply can power the entire rack.
The 3500/15 AC and DC power supply of the 3500/15 accepts a variety of high or low input voltages and can be converted to the voltage required by the 3500 module. They are ideal for mechanical protection systems, and one or two power supplies can be used if backup is required. After the two power supplies are installed, the lower slot houses the primary power supply and the upper slot houses the redundant power supply.
The 3500/15 power supply provides AC or DC power to the 3500, including transient data interface (TDI), separate monitoring modules and input/output (I/O) modules, and all connected sensor monitoring systems in mechanical protection and conditions. Modules can be "hot-swappable" by removing or inserting either power module without damaging the rack.
The 3500/05 System rack contains all 3500 monitor modules and rack power supplies, allowing the modules to communicate with each other, using System1 software and power supplies to allocate power to each module as needed. The 3500 system rack is an integral part of the Bentley Nevada Turbine Monitoring Instrumentation (TSI) turbine suite. With two sizes (standard 19 "and 14"), three flexible mounting forms (racks, partitions and panels), and interior barrier options for hazardous areas, you can customize the 3500/05 system rack to meet your needs. The rack also features a weatherproof housing that protects the 3500 system from adverse environmental conditions. The 3500 system is available as a SIL2 level system, which means it will provide intrinsic security.
Also known as the Transient Data Interface Module (or TDI), the 3500/22M is the heart of the 3500 rack system. It allows the configuration of 3500 rack parameters and is used as a gateway for the System1 mechanical condition monitoring software platform.
