MSCI and MSC motion controllers
MSCI and MSC motion controllers are high-performance motion controllers with PLC functionality, ideal for complex centralized and decentralized applications. These modules are designed for a variety of similar tasks and differ only in interface and performance.
These motion controllers have built-in IP20 protection and are suitable for mounting on DIN rails in electronic enclosures.
The MSCI Motion controller provides high-resolution analog input/output and position sensor interfaces. It is designed for fast and accurate closed-loop control of both axes. The MSC1 motion controller is best suited for applications where one or two electric cylinders need to be controlled through an analog interface.
The MSC motion controller has several fieldbus interfaces and four position sensor interfaces. It is designed for closed-loop control of motion trajectories that generate or do not generate multiple electrical or hydraulic shafts.
The combined capabilities of the MSCI and MSCII motion controllers can be extended with additional high-resolution analog and digital I/O and communication modules. The expansion module is clipped to the side of the motion controller and electronically connected via an internal expansion bus (E-Bus). In order to control complex decentralized applications, two CAN bus interfaces are also included.
Hardened motion controller
The Rugged Motion Controller (MSC-R) is a freely programmable motion controller designed for harsh environments. It is suitable for electrical and hydraulic motion control.
In addition to MSCI and MSCⅡ motion controllers, rugged motion controllers are available to support high-speed control in harsh industrial environmental conditions. It has the same computing power as the MSCII motion controller.
The hardened motion controller can be mounted directly on the machine without the need for an additional electronic chassis. Rugged design with IP67 protection, innovative combination of computing power and fieldbus support make rugged motion controllers the best choice for high-performance embedded control solutions.
