The NI PXI-4071 (Part number: 778271-01) is a FlexDMM multi-function 3U PXI module that provides the estimation capabilities of high-resolution digital multimeters (DMM) and digitizers. As A digital universal meter, the PXI-4071 quickly and accurately estimates voltages from ±10 nV to 1000 V, currents from ±1 pA to 3 A, and resistance from 10 μω to 5 Gω. Repeat/cycle and diode estimates are also performed. The DC current range of the device is -3A to 3A. In high-voltage, restricted digitizer mode, the PXI-4071 can obtain DC-coupled waveforms at test rates of up to 1.8 MS/ s in all voltage and current modes. Using the inspection function in NI LabVIEW programming, the user can repeat the study of these waveforms in time. The PXI-4071 offers universal speed, accuracy, and utility, making it the perfect choice for automated testing.
The model takes advantage of a modern architecture that utilizes fast PXI bus lines, which outperforms the traditional 7 1/2 bit digital multimeter speed/execution boundary.
