The A400 series aims to deliver a high performance camera that meets the most stringent requirements for resolution, speed and image quality. This goal was achieved by using an advanced four-megapixel sensor and a unique camera backend, a combination that offers brilliant image quality and the possibility of fast preprocessing. To ensure reliable, consistent quality, the A400 variant is 100% quality checked and calibrated. All of this makes the A400 camera a very flexible and reliable tool for many applications.
All A400 cameras include a high quality CMOS sensor with 2352X 1726 active pixels. While the speed sensor of the most common CCDS is limited to 15 fps, the A400 variant offers a better maximum frame rate:

The A400 series sets new standards with outstanding performance and image quality comparable to CCD cameras. The extraordinary image quality comes from the use of advanced CMOS sensors as well as sophisticated electronic design. Three different image enhancement features can further improve image quality:

Non-uniformity without flowering or smudging is another advantage on cameras with CCD sensors. Missing code is not a problem
The A400 and the image are very similar in this respect. The fast FPGA used in the A400 camera makes it possible for on-board options to be pre-processed and allows the implementation of individual algorithms adapted to customer needs
