The 1757-SRM is an important module of the Allen-Bradley ProcessLogix and ControlLogix systems, which are used for redundant configuration of controllers to improve the availability and reliability of the entire industrial control system. This module operates synchronously by installing the primary and secondary controllers in two different ControlLogix cases, ensuring that the secondary controller can seamlessly take over control tasks in the event of a primary controller failure, ensuring continuity in the production process.
The 1757-SRM module has the following features:
Two-slot module designed for installation in the ControlLogix chassis.
With an integrated fiber port, the 62.5/125 micron multimode fiber cable is connected to the 1757-SRM module in another chassis to form a synchronous link.
