The MasterBus 300 (MB300) communication protocol is used for communication between controllers, as well as between operating stations in installations based on Advant OCS and Master software, and is also implemented in the System 800xA controller AC 800M. The MB 300 communication is implemented in the AC 800M via the communication interface CI855, which is connected to the CEX-Bus via the backboard.
The baseplate TP853 contains RJ45 connectors for two Ethernet ports for network redundancy and offers simple DIN rail mounting.
A major advantage of the CI855 interface is the ability to work with MB 300 controllers such as the Advant Controller 410, Advant Controller 450, and the new factory portion of the System 800xA using the AC 800M controller Point-to-point communication between existing parts of MasterPiece 200/1).
