The XVME-653 is a single-slot VMEbus processor module.

At its core is Intel's 233MHz MMX CPU and comes with 512K synchronous secondary pipeline cache and up to 256MB fast 

page mode or EDO DRAM.

The XVME-653's distinctive feature is its integrated PCI-to-VMEbus interface, which allows users to take advantage of the 

multiprocessing capabilities of VMEbus while using standard off-the-shelf PC software and operating systems. This design 

makes the XVME-653 suitable for industrial automation and control systems that require high-performance computing and complex data processing.

The XVME-653 also includes a range of I/O interfaces, including PCI graphics, EIDE, and Ethernet controllers, a universal
