6105-WA-PDPS PROSOFT Wireless PROFIBUS DP gateway PROFIBUS master protocol driver

The PROFIBUS master protocol driver exists as a single port implementation. Drivers can be configured as Class 1 PROFIBUS master devices to interface continuously with other PROFIBUS slave devices. This unit is also used to configure nodes on the PROFIBUS network. It provides access to standard and extended diagnostic information.

The module provides one-to-one or one-to-many PROFIBUS interconnection scenarios. Data is exchanged between devices and/or networks, using shared public databases and efficient but powerful wireless protocols. This common database provides "backbone" communication for various field devices using different networks.

ProSoft Wireless protocol

ProSoft Wireless Protocol (PWP) provides versatility in hybrid control devices that need to cooperate with each other. This involves sharing information across applications regardless of device or network type, often at high speeds and with high reliability. Optimize wireless bandwidth utilization with efficient communication methods. The protocol supports unicast, broadcast, and multicast group messaging. Efficiency is based on the fact that every device on the "wireless" network can generate these types of messages, and each device decides which of these messages it wants to use.
